Workshops
One-day Workshops for the Summer Term 2020:
Watercolour with Attitude.
Time to play, experiment and discover just what watercolour paints can do.
No faint-hearted, wishy-washy watercolours here!
Colours, tones, textures, joy!
The day will start with a series of exercises, to introduce and encourage a variety of ways to make the paint work.
Later, students will have time to put their new skills into practice on a completed painting (or two).
Refreshments will be freely available throughout the day, but students should bring a packed lunch.
Student numbers will be restricted, so you will need to pay up front to reserve your place.
Once the workshop is full, you can still put your name on the 'reserve list', in case anyone drops out before the day.

Details for Life Drawing and Portraiture workshops:
Each day will begin with some guided 'warm up' exercises, after which the model will take up his/her pose which will continue for the rest of the day (with rest breaks).
Students are then free to concentrate on one long drawing or painting, or make several studies, moving around the room if they want to.
As usual, students will supply their own materials. Any medium except oils may be used (water mixable oils are acceptable). A sketching easel is useful, but not essential. It is unlikely that there will be room for students to use tables.
Refreshments will be freely available throughout the day, but students should bring a packed lunch.
Student numbers will be restricted, so you will need to pay up front to reserve your place.
Once the workshop is full, you can still put your name on the 'reserve list', in case anyone drops out before the day.
Please note that
A PLACE ON ANY WORKSHOP CANNOT BE RESERVED WITHOUT PAYMENT.
Places on the workshops will be allocated as they are paid for.
Return Policy - Workshops
Full payment for each workshop is required on booking. Payments are non-refundable.
In the event of a cancellation by Susan Keeble, unless the circumstances are beyond her control, a full refund will be given to students who have booked.
However, if a student has booked and paid, but has to drop out before the workshop, where there is someone on the waiting list who can take their place, the replacement student's payment will refund them.
